The Bakery Collective
Formerly known as LeDAO
The Bakery Collective is a group of dedicated art lovers and artists focused on the cultivation and curation of digital art.
Our hope is to foster a new wave of artists and support existing ones by enhancing the value and visibility of 1:1 artwork. Promote and educate creators, artists, and collectors to elevate the digital art space.
LeDAO began in 2021 when a few Solana-based art collectors joined together to purchase a piece by artist John Le. Over time, the DAO grew and more top artists were added to the gallery.
In 2024, LeDAO has evolved and repositioned for the next bull cycle with new members, new art and a new energy. The original mission remains—enhance the visibility of 1:1 art and elevate the digital art community.
BEFORE & AFTER
The original Le DAO logo featured a stylized croissant, understated font and a flexible color palette. The goal of the brand refresh was to introduce a new name and refine the croissant.
Building on the established croissant brand equity, name explorations led the DAO to use “bakery” as a bakery can represent a meeting place where communities come together to share ideas.
The croissant logo was updated to represent a stronger, cleaner stylized representation of the brand. The font treatment intentionally has one foot in traditional high end art gallery vibes and one foot in web3.
Pantone’s color of the year for 2024 is Peach Fuzz, a color that “communicates a message of caring and sharing, community and collaboration.” The Bakery Collective will feature a sophisticated color palette centered around Peach Fuzz to stay on trend.
